Fitness vs Everyday Life

Fitness and your everyday life don’t always go hand in hand with one another. It is up to YOU to find the time, make sacrifices, and keep on your schedule that you have worked so hard obtain. OR, start on making time and build a schedule that fits in your life, TODAY.
Trust me, I would love nothing else this Holiday season to eat fudge, cookies, bake cookies with my kids and eat the bad ones, eat the extra piece of pie at dinner, snack on whatever is at the office, friend’s house etc etc. That was the OLD me! I would think to myself, oh I worked out today so I can have just one piece, then it would turn into five pieces. OR I would say, there is always tomorrow, I can work it off tomorrow (I will work extra hard in the gym). Really, are you kidding me! That never ever happens or happened!
It is all about making the CHOICE, the SACRAFICE, the DEDICATION, and having the DETERMINATION in your heart to be all you can be and be the best at it! I have finally experienced this and it feels amazing. If I could bottle it up and pass it out, or sell it (no I would give it away) I would! I would love everyone to feel this drive, and motivation!  I feel and look better right now at 30 then I did at 20 or even in high school (when I played sports all year round)!
Goal setting – I think was and is my saving grace! I HAVE to set goals for myself, in order to keep myself on track. Daily, weekly, monthly, and now I am all the way out to 8 months out with one of my fitness goals.
You can succeed at ANYTHING you put your mind to. You may fall off the wagon, we all have cheat meals (try not to make them into cheat DAYS), and life is full of everyday challenges but it is how you deal and manage them. Make your fitness an everyday goal and priority even a necessity in your everyday routine. Even if it is 10 minutes of some kind of fitness, it is still something, better than NOTHING! If there is a will there is a way..
Good luck! Check me out on facebook  –   shaBAM Fitness   – ask me questions! I would love to help anyone succeed at their fitness goals! I would also love to know others struggles, stories, motivation, success stories etc!
Happy Holidays! Don’t wait until New Years to start those resolutions!
